Colleen
Dental Hygienist
Colleen graduated with an associate degree in applied health science of dental hygiene from Northampton Community College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, in 1994. She joined us in October 2004 and is about to hit her 30-year mark as a practicing dental hygienist this Spring and feels so blessed to have spent almost 20 years of those years here at Falls Church Comprehensive Dentistry. She enjoys everything about our office, from her awesome employer to her very helpful and knowledgeable teammates, to the patients that feel like friends after all the years she has seen them. She contributes to the success of our office by assessing any changes or issues patients may be having with their oral health, making sure the doctors have all the information they need to make a diagnosis, as well as educating patients on their oral health status and encouraging any positive changes they may need to implicate.
After working with Dr. Rowhani and Dr. Hauptman for so long, Colleen feels like she knows their philosophy and approach to treatment, which helps her explain treatment procedures and answer any questions patients may have. She is very proud to be a part of their team.
Colleen has been married to her husband, Gino, for 20 years and says she got lucky because aside from being a great husband, Gino, is also a great cook. Together, they have two teenage children and a crazy Shih-Poo named Phelps. Colleen loves being with family and spends most if not all her time with them. They love the outdoors and going “home” to Pennsylvania to be with the rest of the family to go hiking, camping and fishing. Otherwise, she stays busy cheering on her kiddos in their sports whether it is swimming, field hockey or basketball.

Chris has been married for 23 years to her husband, Thomas, who is a retired Marine Corps Officer. They have four awesome kids who like to keep her on her toes. She enjoys baking, traveling, photography and fitness and nutrition.

She enjoys working as a team and appreciates the given tools and freedom to do her job properly as well as the appreciation shown to our new staff and long-standing patients.
Parisa is bilingual in English and Laotian. When she is not caring for patients, she is often donating her time and volunteering at several Mission of Mery projects and the VCU Jamica Projection. She is also a state record holder for power lifting and enjoys tennis, pickleball, cooking and baking cosmetic formulations.
